At Lighthouse Church North County, our vision extends beyond our walls. We aim to impact Vista, California, and beyond with the message of hope and restoration found in Christ. We are passionate about reaching our community through service, outreach, and genuine relationships that reflect God’s love.

In 2018, Pastor Josh and Joanna felt called by God to plant a church in North County San Diego. After months of prayer and guidance, Lighthouse Church North County officially launched in San Marcos on March 24, 2019, with a team of 74 people. Within the first year, the church grew to 200 people finding community and belonging.
During the 2020 pandemic, Lighthouse moved fully online for 49 weeks, yet God continued to move through growing families, lasting connections, and baptisms. In 2021, Lighthouse reopened in Vista after purchasing its first permanent home at 342 Eucalyptus Ave., where renovations continue as the church prepares for the future.
Today, Lighthouse continues Loving Radically, Living Generously, and Watching Jesus Do the Extraordinary. Through ordinary people, God has helped Lighthouse launch four churches, support ministries serving the homeless, orphanages in Mexico, and women recovering from trafficking, while continuing to serve the local community with compassion and care.
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.Â

We are committed to loving God and loving others, and to be known for our love for one another.

We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture, and that draws us closer to Him.

We are called to serve our community and those in need, through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.

We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people, and to share the gospel through both deed and word.

We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their relationship with God.

We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, using them to meet the needs of the church and community.

We seek to foster unity in diversity, standing together as a church family united in our purpose of sharing God’s love.

We strive to be a holy people, living in obedience to God’s Word and in surrender to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

We seek to fulfill the Great Commission, making disciples of Jesus Christ in our region and beyond.
